Texas Water Company Announces Changes Effective January 2025

Texas Water Company is changing its payment and billing processes. One key change involves recovering merchant fees charged to us for processing credit card transactions.

  • Credit Card Fees: Starting January 14, 2025, a 2.95% processing fee with a minimum of 1.95 will be applied to all credit card payments, including those made through autoPay and phone payments. ACH (checking and saving) payments will remain available at no cost for added convenience.
  • In-Person Payments Ending: Beginning January 1, 2025, our office will no longer accept payments. 
    • Customers are encouraged to mail checks directly to our secure lockbox at:
      P.O. Box 733390, Dallas, TX 75373-3390. If payments are received through any other way, they will be returned to the sender.

Convenient Payment Options

We offer several ways to make payments or manage your account:

  • Pay online through our secure Customer Portal.
  • Set up Automatic Bank Draft for no-fee recurring payments.
  • Visit authorized Western Union locations for in-person payments.
  • Mail payments to the lockbox address above.
