Calculating water service rates depends on several factors, such as the cost of operating and maintaining water and wastewater systems, supplies, materials, and capital expenditures. This includes infrastructure such as mains, treatment facilities, pumping stations, storage tanks, buildings, and equipment.
Since 2006, Texas Water Company has acquired numerous water systems. Each acquired system often has its own tariff and rate schedule.
