Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On April 15th, 2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Canyon Lake Shores, PWS ID TX0460019, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of April 16th, 2025.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact our office at (830) 312- 4600. Water pressure has been restored to the system and all required bacteriological samples are negative. You should flush household pipes, ice makers, water fountains, etc. prior to using them for drinking or cooking. To flush, run all cold-water faucets in your home for one-minute, flush automatic ice makers by making three batches of ice and discarding, run water softeners through a regeneration cycle, and replace water filters.
